Jessie Elena Slauenwhite, 93, of
Middlewood, passed away on Saturday January 9, 2021 in South Shore
Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, with her family by her
side.
Born in Coleman, ON, June 5, 1927, she was
a daughter of the late Danny and Viola (Gaynor)
Stewart.
Jessie was a homemaker who took pride in
her home and loved looking after her family. In her free time she
enjoyed knitting, listening to Bluegrass music and was a member of the
South Shore Bluegrass Music Association. She spent a lot of time
camping with family and friends.
Surviving are her children, Margaret
(Otis) Scott, Newcombville, Leroy (Dayle) Slauenwhite, Kingston,
Clifford Slauenwhite, Italy Cross, Glen (Linda) Slauenwhite, Italy
Cross; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren,
great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her
parents, she was predeceased by her husband Clifford; children,
Robert, and Marie Schrader; sister, Beatrice Fisher, and her companion
in later life, Russell Wile.
A graveside memorial service will take
place at a later date in Middlewood United Cemetery. Memorial
donations may be made to the South Shore Bluegrass Music Association
or a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of
the R.A Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, where on-line condolences may
