Obituary
On Tuesday, December 14th, 2021 we said our final good bye to our beloved Jen.
She left this world peacefully surrounded by her loving family in Kingston Ontario. To know Jen was to love Jen. She was full of life from an early age and was always the life of the party. She loved fiercely and would do anything and stop at nothing for her friends and family.
More than anything, Jen loved her son Hayden (Hayden Jeffs-Soule). We always knew she would move mountains for that boy and she used both her strength and grit to do so over the years. Jen never backed down from a challenge and with the support of her soul mate and long time companion Jon (Jonathon Hill) she built a family for her only child.
Glitz and glam were always a part of Jen’s life. With her perfectly manicured nails, she and her older sister Cat (Catherine Jeffs-Fequet) were both a sight to behold and a force not to reckon with; you did not get in the way of the Jeffs’ girls as they forged on following the passing of their parents (Robert Jeffs and Susan Jeffs).
Aunt Jen was the Aunt everyone wanted. A little mischievous and generous to a fault. She leaves behind her nieces and nephews Brydin, Eria, Kai, Mya and Ayden.
Jen felt the love and support from so many people over the years. Her earlier years were filled with trips to the sand dunes with her father figure Rob (Robert Foster) and telling stories around the campfire with the boys, eventually men, in her life Brad (Bradley Foster & wife Victoria Foster), Tony (John Foster) and brother in law Eric (Anthony Fequet). In later years, as the cherished future daughter in law of Jana Hill and Steve Chartrand of Tyendinaga and future sister in law to Joey Hill, Jen never missed a chance to step up and help prep for the next family celebration. With Jen, there was no limit on ‘family’. She embraced us all.
Jen is survived by her grandparents Nyla Garrett and Ken Garrett (Mary Shore) (Ottawa) and predeceased by grandparents (Harry Jeffs and Muriel Jeffs of Belleville). She will be dearly missed by all her aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends and family will be invited to gather at a time in the New Year for a Ceremony of Remembrance. Details to follow.

I knew Jen as my little sister. She definitely was a free spirit and a great person. We lost touch over the years but I’m a better person because I knew her. Hayden I’m so sorry for your loss. She loved the shit out of you. Cat you were the best big sister ever she loved you more than ever. Rob, I’m so sorry for your loss. Brad and Tony aka big brothers she will always be your little sis. Jon I am so sorry for your loss. Keep her in your hearts everyone. I know I will.
