Obituary
Jeffrey Perry Woitt
On January 31, 2021 Jeffrey Woitt of Wetaskiwin passed away suddenly but peacefully at the age of 57 years.
Jeff was born in Wetaskiwin and grew up on his grandfather’s farm. He finished high school and worked for Jim McConnell moving houses for a bit. Jeff loved farming and raising cattle but he especially enjoyed drilling water wells with his good friend, Brian Maygard. Jeff, Ken, and their friends built a hockey rink and all of the kids in the neighborhood played on it. Then later, the nephews and their friends took over. Jeff really enjoyed helping the boys get the rink in every winter. They meant the world to him, like one big family!
Jeff will be sadly missed by his loving family; parents, Raymond and Joan; brother, Ken (Pat); nephews, Dan and Mike (Bella) as well as many extended family members and many good friends and neighbors.
Due to the Covid-19 regulations, there will be a small graveside service at the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery west of Wetaskiwin.
