Obituary for Jeffrey “Jeff” Wood
With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Jeffrey at home with his family by his side on December 12, 2021, at 41 years of age. Treasured son of Brent and Rosanne Wood. Loving grandson of Madeleine Larsson (late Edgar Lacoste and late Frank Larsson) and the late Robert and Simone Wood. Dear brother of Jonathan (Marissa), Sarah (Branden) and Alex. Beloved uncle of Nicklas, Henri, Luc, Andrew, Eddie, Madeleine, and Simon. Also survived by many aunts and uncles. Special Leaf’s buddy of Meghan and Jordan. He will be sadly missed by his favourite teacher, Ingrid Heugh who referred to him as Geography Jeff. Jeff loved the Toronto Maple Leaf’s and never missed a game since 2003. Jeff was a volunteer at H.E.I.R.S. for many years. He was a member of the Hockey Research Association. His niece and nephews were his pride and joy. He was a graduate of St. Clair College from the Journalism Program. Jeff was very loved, and he will remain in our hearts forever. Special thanks to Dr. Burgess and his team; Paramed Nurses Emmanuel and Rochelle for taking such great care of Jeff. Cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Hospice of Windsor. Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North, Es entrusted with the arrangements.
