Jeffrey Corber 2021

Jeffrey Corber
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jeffrey Corber on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at home, after a valiant battle. Jeffrey was a pillar of our community, and his loss will be keenly felt by all who knew him. Survived by his adored and cherished wife of forty-six years, Yona Leibovici, and his children, Ben, Jordan and Laura (Scheim), whom he loved and who loved him to no end. He was a Zaidy extraordinaire and incredibly devoted to his four grandchildren, Max, Jack, Leo and Mila, who were his pride and joy. His grandkids describe their Zaidy as funny, selfless, and their biggest cheerleader and protector. Loving son of Greta and the late Alfred Corber. Brother of the late Brian Corber and the late Earle Corber (Elizabeth). Uncle of Chad Corber. Beloved son-in-law of the late Annie and the late Benjamin Leibovici; and treasured brother-in-law of the late Levi Fabian. Jeffrey’s generosity and warmth knew no bounds. He loved and was loved hard. A born salesman, he always found a way to brighten the days of those he came into contact with, from all walks of life. He had a larger-than-life personality and a tremendous appetite for life, always asking questions and wanting to learn more about people. Jeffrey loved to laugh, had an amazing sense of humour and was the king of dad jokes. The family would like to thank Dr. Gerald Batist, Dr. Jean Zigby and Dr. Khalil Sultanem, as well as all the nurses in the Oncology Ward at the Jewish General Hospital and NOVA West Island for their dedicated care. A private funeral service to take place. Shiva strictly private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeffrey’s memory may be made to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Jeffrey Corber 2021..
