April 25, 1918 – July 16, 2021
Formerly of Windsor and Leamington, Jean passed away in Markham on Friday, July 16, 2021. Wife of the late John Yaworsky, mother of George (Jan) of Markham, and Judith of Ottawa. Grandmother of Kim and Karen. Jean is also survived by her sisters Olga Stasso of Leamington and Ethel Petrynko of Winnipeg. A strong, kind woman, Jean will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law, Nel Yaworsky, many nieces and nephews, and her wonderful neighbours on Tourangeau Road, where she resided over 55 years. “Auntie Jean” was well known for her great cinnamon buns and home-made bread. She expressed the desire to be buried from St. Theresa’s Parish, in Windsor, where she and her family were life-long members. Visitation at St. Therea’s Church, 1991 Norman Rd, Windsor, on Monday, July 19, 2021, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment at Heavenly Rest to follow.
