1934-2021
Thursday, June 17th, 2021, at the
Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 86, passed away
Mrs. Jeannine Maltais of the Val
d’Amour, wife of the late Clifford Maltais. She
was the daughter of the late Dorina (born Ouellette) and the late John
Lurette.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Gaston of Val
d’Amour, Ghislain (Cecile Roy) of Val d’Amour,
Lisianne (Roger Maltais) of Val d’Amour, Lambert (Flavie
Lagace) of Val d’Amour, Vincent of Tracadie &
Marie-Josee (Jeremy Irvine) of Campbellton; her
grandchildren : Marie-Chantal, Jérémie,
Yves, Marie-Claude, Michaël, Naomie, Anthony, Francis, Anika
& Brianna; her great-grandchildren : Alexandre,
Amelianne, Charlene & Julien; her sisters and brother: Donalda
Maltais of Val d’Amour, Paulette (Roy Boudreau) of
Campbellton and Coy (Claudette Bourque) of Campbellton; her
sisters-in-law Jeanne-Mance Lurette of Campbellton and Corine
Essiembre of Eel River; a dearest friend Francine Cyr; also by many
members of the Lurette & Maltais families, nieces, nephews and
friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Clifford, her sons: Meryl
& Gervais, her grandson Maxime, her parents, her sister, and
brothers: Georgette, Marcellin, Hermel and
Léonide.
The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June
24th, 2021, at 4:00 pm in the Our Lady of
Sacred Heart Church, Val d’Amour. Respecting Mrs.
Maltais wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral
home. A donation to the Friends of Healthcare Foundation
would be greatly appreciated by the family.
