Obituary of Jean Friesen
April 23, 1954 – October 12, 2021
The death of Jean Friesen, age 67 years of Laird, SK occurred at Rosthern Hospital on October 12, 2021. She is survived by her: husband, Abe Friesen; son; Kevin (Christina) Friesen and family, Alexa Friesen, Hunter Janzen; and one sister, Shirley (Gary) Fischer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Laird, SK, with Pastor Jason Johnson officiating. Following the service, interment of her ashes will take place in Stony Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 55 St. Clair Avenue West, Suite 500, Toronto, ON M4V 2Y7.
Arrangements are entrusted to Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern, SK.
