They lived in Trinidad, Colombia, Honduras, El Salvador, Ecuador, Guatemala, and New Jersey before moving to Victoria in 2003. Jack was a shrewd bank inspector, a dry wit, an avid reader, a lover of jazz and Latin music, a competitive cribbage player, and a faithful and loyal friend. He is survived by his children: Kim, David (Barbara), Stephen (Sara), Peter (Hiroko); and eight grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
