Obituary of M. Jean Johnson
JOHNSON: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, on Thursday, September 30, 2021, M. Jean (Boddy) Johnson of Strathroy, formerly of Grand Bend, age 86. Beloved wife of the late Mervin Allen Johnson (September 1, 2019). Beloved mother to Marion Dutton and Bryan Wright of Glencoe, Brian and Sue Johnson of Grand Bend. Jean will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Jeffrey and Katelyn Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Matthew Sharrow and Kristen Potter, Laura Sharrow and by her great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Everly Johnson and Zachary Sharrow. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Ruth and Bob Henry, John and Doris Boddy, Betty and Walter Boronow, Mary Lester, Ellen MacIntosh-Green, Lily Mae and Ken Quanz and Eleanor Johnson. Predeceased by her parents William and Ethel (Hicks) Boddy, siblings-in-law William Johnson, Glen and Kathleen Johnson, Howard Lester and Terry Green. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with Private Family Services taking place on Saturday, October 2, 2021. Interment Grand Bend Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

  1. My prayers and thoughts are with Marion, Brian, Ruth, John and families. I remember many times with Jean and the family during summer vacations. I thank God that Jean is in her resting place with our Lord and Saviour.
