It is with the most broken of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jeannie on Sunday, June 13, 2021, in her ninety-fifth year. Devoted wife of the late Morris Cohen. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Bill and Marlene Cohen, Shelley and Michael Shnider. Cherished Nana of Jamie and Alex, Lawrence and Gemma, and Jacob and Khorkhe. Proud great-grandmother of Nina and Sadie. Treasured sister and sister-in-law of Dr. Morton (Marcey) and the late Joyce Greenblatt, Gerry and Arlene Greenblatt, the late Joe and the late Bess Greenblatt, the late Edie and the late Hy Cooper. Jeannie will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and all who knew her.
She was always the Queen and heart of the family. So close to her children and grandchildren. Near or far, she was a strong, warm, and loving presence in all their lives – a shoulder to cry on, someone to share in their joy, and always willing to provide her incredible words of wisdom.
