In Loving Memory of Jean Dutka (nee West)
Passed away at the Minden Hospital on Friday, August 6, 2021 with her son Bill and caregiver Rebecca by her side. Jean was just shy of her 79th birthday.
Beloved wife of the late Stan Dutka (2007). Loving mother of Bill, Sandy and her husband Steve Daniel. Loving ba-ba to Jasmine (Jesse), Kayla, Brandon and great ba-ba to Aliyah. Dear sister of Mae Irwin, Jimmy West, sister-in-law of Louise West, predeceased by her brother Ernie West and by her sisters Mary Willet and Donna Barnewall. Fondly remembered by her cousins in the United States and also by her nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Jean was an active member of the community, volunteering with the Minden Health Care Auxiliary, working at the St. Pauls Anglican Church Thrift Store and at the former Club 35.
In accordance to Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at St. Pauls Anglican Church, Minden in September 2021. The date and time will be announced. Private family interment will be held at St. Stephens Cemetery.
Memorial Donations to the St. Pauls Anglican Church, Minden would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged through the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0.
