Jean-Alvin «Garcon» Cormier
1947-2021
Jean-Alvin «Garcon» Cormier,74, of Bouctouche, passed away
peacefully at the Saint-John Regional Hospital, on Sunday October 3,
2021. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Philias and the
late Dorice (LeBlanc) Cormier.
He will be sadly missed by his stepchildren; Alida Poirier (Jean-Paul)
of Moncton, Henri Poirier (Monique) and their son Camille of
Bouctouche. He also leaves to mourn his sisters; Rose-Mai Gravelle
(late Royale) of Quebec, Rosella Collette (Rhéal), Patricia
«Patsy» Allain (Jean-Guy) both of Bouctouche, his brothers;
Alfred «Bébé», Joseph, both of Bouctouche,
Léo-Paul of Moncton and several nieces and nephews.
Jean-Alvin was predeceased by his common-law wife Marianne (2020) and
his sister Noella.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’Eglise, Bouctouche, on Thursday October 7, 2021 from 1 to 3pm,
followed by the Funeral Service at 3:00pm.
Proof of vaccination and face masks will be required at the Funeral
Home to comply with Public Health guidelines.
In Jean-Alvin’s memory a donation can be made to the
family.
