OSORIO, Javier
Surrounded by family at Parkwood Hospital, Javier, of Manizales, Columbia, in his 74th year. Beloved husband and best friend of 44 years to Sharron (nee Taschereau). Javier Proudly raised his three stepsons, providing love, care and guidance to Adam, the late Shawn and Aaron (Julie) McKenzie. Papa will be forever missed and cherished by his grandchildren Gabrielle, Daniel and Finn McKenzie. Friend and uncle to Justin (Jen), Travis (Susan), Warren and Josh (Shanda). Chauffeur, babysitter and bank, Javier was a kind soul and always there to help if help was needed. He will be forever missed by all who knew him. Together with wife Sharron, Javier ran a successful small construction cleaning business that employed many members of the Spanish community in London for over 25 years. Before immigrating to Montreal in the late 1970’s, Javier was a police officer in Columbia and worked on his family’s coffee farm along side his brothers and sisters. A special thank-you is extended to the staff at Parkwood Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their compassion and care that they show every single day. Cremation has taken place.
