Janine Paquette (Pêtre)
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Janine Marguerite (Pêtre) Paquette at HSN, surrounded by her family, on April 14, 2021, at the age of 88. Daughter of the late Jean-Marie Pêtre and the late Marie Anna (Jacques) Pêtre. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 65 years, Dr. Gaston Paquette. Beloved mother of Danielle Herrington (Michael), Lucie Serratore (Gerry), Josée Doucet (Daniel), Sylvain Paquette (Colleen), Mireille Picard (Yvan). Beloved “Mamie” of her fourteen grandchildren: Mathieu (Monika), Stéfan (Jasmin), Éric, Janine (Richard), Michelle (Tim), Nicolette (Blase), Dre Véronique (Dr. Kevin), Caroline (James), Pascale-Anne (Ryan), Patrick, Liam, Samuel, Phillipe, Joël and her great grandchildren Ella, Chloe, Lennon, Frederic. She will also be missed by her sister Thérèse Gosselin. Janine loved golf, folkart, music and seldom missed The Young and Restless. She cherished her many trips and outings with her very special friends. What Janine enjoyed most was spending time with Gaston, her children and grandchildren creating a lifetime of memories and a legacy that will last forever in their hearts. Due to the pandemic and for the protection of all, the family will hold a private service at the Coopérative Funéraire de Sudbury chapel.
