Obituary of Janet Huffman
HUFFMAN, Janet Marie (nee Svehla)…
In the early morning hours of January 24th, 2021, at Chatham Kent Health Alliance, Chatham, Janet Huffman passed away at the age of 71 after a lengthy illness.
Loving wife of Gerald Huffman for 30 years.
Beloved daughter of Angela Svehla and the late Peter Svehla (1997).
Cherished mother of Jeff (Stephaine) Bellamy, Scott (Becky) Bellamy and Brian Bellamy (Jen) and step-mother of Heather (Khristian) McGrath and Kelly (Jesse) McInroy.
Grandma to 17 wonderful grandchildren.
Great-grandma to one and one on the way.
Sister of Patricia (Roland) Sterling and David (Silva) Svehla.
Caring daughter-in-law to Sally Bear and close family member of Delores Summerfield.
Will be missed by lifelong friends, cousins, neighbours and extended family.
You would only have to meet her once to know what a loving and fantastic woman she was. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
Due to COVID-19, a private family service will take place on Friday, January 29th, 2021. Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
