JANET McWATERS
Of Burks Falls
Peacefully at home on Sunday August 21, 2021.
Jan McWaters, beloved wife of Ron McWaters, was in her 72nd year.
Jan is predeceased by her daughter Crystal and survived by her son Robert Billard.
Jan will be fondly remembered by Ron’s children: Ron (Linda), Bill, Laurie (Gary), Warren (Janet), the late Karen (Ted) and their families.
Jan is predeceased by her brother Robert Bickerstaff, is the dear sister-in-law of Odete, beloved aunt of Yvette and will be missed by all her family and friends.
The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls on Thursday September 2, 2021, from 11am until 1pm. A service to celebrate Jan’s life will follow in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Steven Smith officiating.
Interment in Burks Falls Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
PLEASE NOTE: Registration is required to attend the service. To register please RSVP on the obituary page at www.opatovskyfuneralhome.com or call the funeral home at 705-382-3222. As per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario attendance numbers will be restricted for social distancing capacity (60 attendees). COVID-19 protocols are in place and masks are mandatory while indoors.
