Suddenly at her home on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the age of 59, beloved daughter of Joan Harrison (Brian) and the late James Turner, loving sister of Stephen Turner (Anne), Kim Turner (Doug), Lisa Olson (John), Christine Scott (Pete) and the late Nancy Turner, Janet passed in the early morning. Janet will be fondly remembered by her many adoring nieces, nephews and great nephews for her wit, kind heart and strength.
Janet was a dedicated employee of Tim Hortons for thirty three years, she helped serve Northumberland, bring joy to others and brightened the lives of many. Janet will be dearly missed and remembered by her coworkers and friends.
Friends and family are invited to attend MacCoubrey Funeral Home, Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 11:00 – 1:00 PM for a visitation. Following the visitation, a private family service will take place at 1:00 PM to honour the life of our dear Janet. A live stream of the service will be available to those who can not attend the service. Following the service, a reception will take place at MacCoubrey Funeral Home.
As Janet was a lover of all fluffy creatures we ask and encourage those that wish to make donations in the spirit of giving during this holiday season to direct them to the Northumberland Humane Society.
