Obituary of James Douglas Brink
We are saddened to announce the passing of James Douglas Brink (Jim), aged 75 years, of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Our beloved Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, on Sunday, June 27, 2021, he suddenly passed after a long battle with diabetes and most recently dementia, he passed at the Villa Youville, in Ste. Anne, MB., which has been his home for the last year.
Jim is survived by his children Lawrence, Shelli, Alicia, Justin & Chelsea as well as their loved ones, including spouses, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, his brothers Allan, Robby & Kenny. Jim had other relationships and with that there were many other special people to him.
He was predeceased by his parents Ada & Helge, and sister Denise.
For those who know Jim, knew that he had a strong character, he loved to work hard, and had an entrepreneurial spirit, that saw him renovating or building houses of his own, fixing vehicles. He loved his hometown and being close to the beauty of nature and the lakes. Most importantly Jim loved passionately in all his relationships and always had fond memories of those he loved.
Due to the times, there will be no formal service, and we will hold a couple smaller events or celebrations at a later date, including one in Thunder Bay.
If friends so desire, donations in memory of Jim may be made to Diabetes Canada.
Special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and caregivers in the later years of his life.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of James
