James Donald Fogarty
1937-2021
It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Fogarty announce his passing at Victoria Hospital, London, ON on Thursday April 1 2021 at the age 83.
James Donald Fogarty was born November 26,1937 to his parents Bruce and Rita Fogarty. Jim lived most of his life in Toronto. He loved music, he loved to sing and play the trumpet. He played the trumpet for 51 years at the Peoples Church in Toronto. Church was a vital part of his life, he was a Christian and loved his Lord. He was a quiet, kind and caring gentleman. He toured all over Canada and USA as well several countries in Europe with The Word of Life Ministeries. Jim loved fishing, and also did Canadian Trophy Fishing and Chartering on Lake Ontario for 35 years.
James was predeceased by his parents Bruce and Rita Fogarty, his son Ron and his brother Bob.
James will be missed by his wife Ruby, step-son Shawn, step- daughter Ruby(Kenneth) Peddle, daughter- in- law Lisa Fogarty.
Dear brother of Poppy, Sharon, Shirley. Loved Grandpa to his Grandchildren Tatiana and Arabella and his Step- Grandchildren Jennifer, Shawn jr.,Jennifer (Paul) Tesone, Sarah and Kayla. Great grandfather of Evan and Gracie.
Brother in law to Audrey(Ross) Ivany, Shirley( Gerald) Fudge, Marjorie (Marvin) Jacobs and Marilyn Hicks Gillingham.
James will be missed by his many extended family members and friends.
Ever remembered , ever loved…….. Gone but not forgotten
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held a future date.
