Obituary for James Somerville
Died at his home in Petrolia on Saturday, April 10, 2021. James Somerville, was in his 88th year. He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years Shirley (nee Metcalfe)(2017). He will be missed by his daughters Maureen Somerville, Jill (Dave) White, Betty Ann (Duane) Hurlock, and Heather (Mark) Pokrajac. He was the loved grandfather to Melinda, Joey (Meagan), Leeanne, Chantelle, Alysha (Jamie), Ryan (Kim), Brad (Chantelle), Derek (Kaitie), Megan, Todd (Crystal), and Chelsea and great grandfather to Amber, Zachary, Hailey, Isaac, Gavin, Emery, Madison, Rocco, Levi, Jessa, and Presley. He was predeceased by parents Arthur and Florence Somerville and his brother Bill (Gayle) Somerville. A private graveside service will be held in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society (www.alzheimers.ca).
