ROBSON, James Patrick aged 90 years.
Passed away in the presence of his family on Monday November 22, 2021 at Pleasant View Towers, St. John’s, NL, James Patrick Robson aged 90 years. Predeceased by his wife of 64 years Mary Theresa Robson. Leaving to mourn his daughter Pat Cardoulis (Tony); son Keith; grandson Matthew (Stacey), Denine of whom he was very proud of, as well as two beautiful great granddaughters: Addyson and Emma who he cherished very much. Also step grandson Steven Cardoulis (Teeanna) and daughter Leah.
Also leaving to mourn sisters: Mary Fleming (Gerard) and Theresa Prass and many friends and relatives. Predeceased by his brother Jack (Doris); sisters and brothers-in-law Elizabeth (Leo), Bell (Don) Butler and Ewald Prass. James was in the military for over 30 years. While in the service, he spent time doing peace keeping tours with the United Nations in the Middle East. He was a great outdoorsman, and taught search and rescue to members of the OPP in Ontario.
Thank you to the staff of 7 West, St. Clare’s and to the staff and nurses at Pleasant View Terrace, which was his home for the past few months. Cremation has taken place. At his request there will be no visitation or service. Donations in his memory may be made to the SPCA. Visit www.barretts.ca to leave a message of condolence to the family.
