KING, James Patrick Sr. – Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the age of 87. Jim was the beloved husband and best friend of Shirley in their 68th year of marriage. Together they enjoyed camping, D.J.’ing, line and square dancing. Most important was his love of family. Cherished Dad of Patricia Killin (John), Jim Jr. (Betty), Nancy Addley (Ray), Susan Tamlin (Pete), and predeceased by Michael (survived by Colleen). Loving Grandpa of Jeremy, Chris (Danielle); Amanda (Kyle), Jennifer (Dylan); Angela, Jessica (Benjamin), Jeffrey; Shawn, Kyle; Joe (Sarah), and predeceased by Jacob. Great Grandpa of Troy, Shelby, Nathan, Alyssa; Lennon, Ellerie, Layla; James, Liliana; Max and Beau. He will be missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. A private family Mass of Christian Burial will take place due to COVID-19 restrictions. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care Unit or the Canadian Mental Health Association – Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge would be appreciated by the family.
