SILBURN, James Martin “Jim”
Retired Self Employed Accountant,
60 year member, Lions Club International (Agincourt and Wellington Clubs) –
Suddenly entered into rest at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Picton on Thursday, April 29, 2021. James “Jim” Silburn of Wellington died at the age of 86. He was the son of the late Bill & Ada Silburn (nee Martin) and was the husband of the late Margie (nee MacDonald). Jim was the loving father of Mark (Suzanne) of Scarborough, Jim (Katherine) of Hockley Valley and Susan Noblett (David) of Ajax. He was the proud grandpa of Jasmine, Jade, Michel, Tanner, Rachel, Sarah and Victoria. Jim is survived by his brother John (Karen) of Brockville and he is predeceased by his brother Bill and his sister Karen Darker. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Jim took great pleasure in helping other self employed entrepreneurs with accounting and business matters. Also, Jim was very proud of his 60 plus years with Lions Club International and the community service they provide.
Mr. Silburn is resting at the Whattam-Hicks Funeral Home, 33 Main Street West, Picton (613-476-2450). A Private Family Memorial Service will be held at Westlake Church of Christ, Westlake with Pastor Don Walcott officiating. Inurnment in the family plot at Westlake Church of Christ Cemetery.
