Joe was the oldest of our family of 4 .All of us born in the difficult “30’s to Mary and Mike on a homestead 3 miles north of Altamont MB in the Parish of St Lupicin . I recall Joe building model airplanes and trying to fly them with elastic bands driving the propeller for several minutes until they crashed !! My brother Joe was an innovative thinker and excelled in learning . I recall his first summer home from the Airforce driving an Indian Motorcycle (1949) I was 11 that summer and experienced my one and ONLY ride on a motorcycle at 85mph on what is now Scoles Road !!! God Bless you Joe. Youngest brother Ted and family Winnipeg and Saskatoon .
