James Jim Vincent Putt 2021

James “Jim” Vincent Putt
It is with broken hearts, we, the family of James Vincent Putt, regret to announce his passing on Tuesday, June 29th, 2021.
Born August 27th, 1959 in Sydney, he was the son of the late Vincent and Freda (Riley) Putt.
Jim is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 41 years Sharon(Russell),daughter Holley(Jay) Redmond, son Ryan Putt(Melanie), sisters Gloria(Walter)Buhji, Patricia Guthrou, Connie Youden, Carol(Howie) Long, Lisa(Leo) Sunderland and many nieces and nephews.
Jim loved spending time with his family and friends, whether it was travelling with Sharon, kayaking or drives with the top down. Whatever brought him to a new place to explore and kept him moving made him happy.
A strong hardworking businessman, Jim had a motto “never give up, never give in” which he carried with him to the very end.
Known for his infectious laugh and wonderful sense of humour, Jim made many friends throughout his lifetime. If you knew him, you simply loved him, and wanted to be around him.
Visitation will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Tuesday July 6th 4-7pm. Internment will take place on a later date. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Centre at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
