Obituary
Passed away peacefully on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Carolyn, sons Kyle (Jacy) and Marty (Melinda), grandchildren Alex, Noah, Liam, Madison and Mya and great-grandchildren Rowen, Willa and Oliver. Predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Wally and grandson William.
Friends may visit the family at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Ave., Carleton Place on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. The family has chosen to have full capacity for the visitation and service. For those attending, proof of double vaccination, with proper identification will be required upon entering the funeral home. Please note that face masks are mandatory at all times. The service will also be live streamed, please go to YouTube and enter BarkerFh- Jim McKittrick at 10:55 am. For those desiring, donations to the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
