In Loving Memory Of
James “Jim” Albert Hartin
James “Jim” Albert Hartin, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Tweed, ON, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at the age of 72 years.
Jim was born in Toronoto, ON on October 23, 1948. He moved to Grande Prairie, AB where he did heavy equipment operating. Jim enjoyed a cold Labatt Blue with friends. He met Gloria during one of these visits. Jim and Gloria built a loving relationship for 20 years, filled with humour, love and, most of all, caregiving. Jim took in Gloria’s children as his own and always considered her family his.
Jim had a great sense of humour. After a visit with someone, he would always say “drop in again sometime.” He liked to take on small projects, tinker, and fix things.
He will be sadly missed by his partner Gloria Moberley; children: Russell (Rachel) Moberley, Amanda (Blain) Merrier, and Jennifer Moberley; grandchildren: Liam Moberley, Mara Moberley, and Shaniele McDonald, they will miss Papa Jim; sister Linda Hartin; and brother Billy Hartin.
Jim was predeceased by his parents William Clinton Hartin and Thelma Grace Abbott.
At Jim’s request, no service was held.
Messages of condolence or donations to assist with expenses at this time may be made to Gloria at gloriamoberley@outlook.com.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of James Jim Albert Hartin October 23 1948 December 31 2020..
