On Thursday, September 23, 2021 Mr. James “Jim” Chesterman of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Auxiliary Hospital at the age of 84 years.
Jim is survived by his loving family; wife, Helen; children, Dean Chesterman of Edmonton, Alberta, Brenda (Carlos) Lara of Wainwright, Grant (Karen) Chesterman of Edgerton, Alberta, Daisy Chesterman of Wainwright; eight grandchildren, Carlos (Loan) Lara, Michael (Nataliia Golovanova) Lara, Joseph (Christina Bates) Lara, Nicolas… Read More » Lara, Cole Chesterman, Ryan Chesterman, Amber Chesterman, Beth Chesterman; one great grandchild, Anna-Sofia Lara; sister-in-law, Kay Chesterman. He was predeceased by his parents, Tom and Blanche Chesterman; siblings, George, Thomas and Arthur Chesterman.
A Private Funeral Mass for Jim will be conducted on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 10:00 AM from the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Wainwright. Family and friends wishing to participate may do so via the Watch Webcast Link below the photo or under the photos and video tab above. Interment will take place in the Rosedale Cemetery at a later date. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, to the Cross Cancer Institute or to the Rosedale Cemetery.
