À l’Hôpital régional d’Edmundston, le 16 janvier 2021, à l’âge de 77 ans et 5 mois, est décédé M. James Garrett, domicilié à Edmundston, époux de Mme Lise Grandmaison, fils de feu M. Edgar Garrett et de feu Mme Dorilda LaPierre.
Outre son épouse, il laisse dans la peine mais également avec de merveilleux souvenirs, son fils Michael Garrett (Lynn) de Saint-Jean NB, sa fille Carolyn Beers (Michael) de Fredericton NB, ses petits-enfants : Emily, Sarah, Isabelle, Nathalie, Eric ainsi que sa sœur Ida Garrett de Squamish BC. Il repose maintenant auprès de ses parents et de sa sœur Noreen.
Ses funérailles auront lieu en la Cathédrale de l’Immaculée-Conception vendredi le 3 septembre 2021 à 11hrs suivi avec l’inhumation au parc commémoratif L’Envolé.
M. Garrett était membre de l’Association des retraités de chez Fraser et membre de l’Association des ingénieurs et des géoscientifiques du NB (AIGNB).
La famille remercie sincèrement les médecins et le personnel des soins palliatifs de l’Hôpital régional d’Edmundston ainsi que l’équipe du programme extra-mural pour les excellents soins qu’il a reçus. Il a été privilégié par votre support et votre dévouement.

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, 2021 January 16, Mr. James Garrett of Edmundston NB passed away at the age of 77 years and 5 months. He was the husband of Mrs. Lise Grandmaison, son of the late Edgar Garrett and the late Dorilda LaPierre.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his son Michael Garrett (Lynn) of Saint-John, his daughter Carolyn Beers (Michael) of Fredericton NB, his loving grandchildren: Emily, Sarah, Isabelle, Nathalie, Eric and his sister Ida Garrett of Squamish BC. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Noreen.
His funeral will take place in the Immaculate-Conception Cathedral Friday September 3rd 2021 at 11h, followed with the burial at the memorial park L’Envolé.
Mr. Garrett was a member of Fraser’s retired Association and of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of NB (APEGNB).
The family would like to thank the medical staff of the palliative care unit of the Edmundston Regional Hospital and of the extra-mural program for the excellent care provided. We were deeply touched by your support and your dedication.
