James D. “Jim” Laney, 87, of Batavia passed away on Sunday March 14, 2021. He was born on July 10, 1933 in Batavia to the late Raymond and Margaret (Linsler) Laney. In addition to his parents, Jim is predeceased by his grandson; Devon Van Linder; sister Loretta Brown and brother Loren Laney.
Jim was a proud United States Army veteran from 1953 to 1955. He went on to work for NY Telephone for 35 years. Jim was a lifelong member of Resurrection Parish in Batavia. He enjoyed riding his John Deere…
