James Albert Jim HARRIS 2021

HARRIS: James Albert, 83, of Tavistock passed away peacefully at his residence with family by his side on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.
He was born at Ingersoll on September 4, 1937 a son of the late Albert & Ethel (Hutcheson) Harris.
Jim was active in the building industry and had worked with Nith Valley Construction for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Mae “Judy” (Wilker) Harris, whom he married on October 7, 1977; two sons, Allan Dolson of London, Robert “Bob” Burgess and his wife Tracey of Woodstock; two daughters, Carrie Tinning of Sebringville; Allison Donaldson and her husband Kenneth of Stratford; 13 grandchildren, Ben Dolson, Vanessa Kenrick, Owen Burgess, Nash Burgess, Easton Ingold, Clayton Ingold, Luke Tinning, Brandy Tinning, Dennis Tinning (Jess), Brandon Tinning (Kelsey), Kevin Donaldson, Michelle Donaldson, Chloe Donaldson (Cody) along with 16 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Ray Tinning (2018).
Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock (today) Friday from 6-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 2 p.m. Pastor Michael Mayer will officiate. Interment in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Tavistock. (Please wear masks and social distance).
