Obituary of Jacqueline Wanda Dionne
The passing of Jacqueline “Jackie” Wanda Dionne of Fredericton, NB, occurred on May 10, 2021 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital with her family by her side. Born on May 15, 1952 and grew up in Greenhill, NB, she was the daughter of the late Nettie (Astle) and Scott Thomas. Jackie was a Property Manager for Warren Cohen at ABC Rentals. She was a member of Morning Gate Church. Jackie loved spending time with family and friends, traveling and sitting in a chair dipping her feet in the ocean.
Jackie is survived by her daughters, Natacha Killam (Jeff) of Fredericton, NB and Krista Hanson (Chris) of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Justin Dionne (Rebecca), Dylan Dionne, and Jenna Killam (Joseph); step granddaughter, Melanie Hanson; brother, Kevin Thomas (Karen); special friend who was always by her side, Bob Good; nieces, Katelyn and Kirsten; nephews Kaleb and Keegan; several aunts, uncles and cousins from all across Canada.
Memorial Service will take place at Morning Gate Church, 74 Morning Gate Drive, Fredericton, NB with Pastor Deb MacDonald officiating at a later date (Please watch York Funeral Home’s website for updates). Interment will take place in St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Morning Gate Church, in memory of Jackie.
