Obituary of Jacobus (Koos) Dirk Joustra
It is with great sadness the family of Jacob (Koos) Joustra age 83 years of Little Bay, NL announce his peaceful passing at Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Monday September 19, 2021.
Leaving to mourn with loving and precious memories son Cosmo (Rhoda) of Lewin’s Cove; grandsons Cole and Camerson; brothers Bram (Janny) of Netherlands and Jitse (Nel) of Netherlands; sister-in-law Ann(Deiter), Frances Brake, Karen Brake; brothers-in-law Gerard (Sue), Charles, Gary (Lori), Pete, Raymond (Karen), Bill, Don Butler, special friends Williem and Erlie Rijgersberg; special homecare worker Margaret Dyke also a large circle of nieces & nephews and large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by wife Vickie, brother Piet Joustra, sisters-in-law Lucy Joustra, Mary, Olive Brake, brother-in-law Tom, Pat.
Jacobus loved animals especially he loved the wild life the squirrels who he loved feeding them His love for flowers and music was surpassed only by her enormous love of animals. He had great empathy for the suffering of any creature.
In keeping with Jacobus wishes cremation has taken place.
