It is with deep sadness , we announce the unexpected passing of Jack Vogels.
Jacobs Willybrordus Vogels was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on May 14, 1958, the sixth child of seven to Peter and Trudy Vogels.
Jack will be sadly missed by his son Jackson, his daughter Jess (Graham), his step daughter Michelle, his granddaughters Maxie and Morgan as well as his sisters Helen (Louis), Mary (George), Trudie (Denis), and brothers Peter (Avery), Paul (Wendy), and John (Em). He will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews and his many friends.
Jack loved his friends and family deeply. He was gentle, generous and welcoming. Jack also loved sports; baseball, hockey, betting on the horses, and golf. Gardening and exploring the local back roads were also a passion.
Jack was predeceased by his son Mark, his former wife Brenda (nee Chambers), the love of his live, Heather Couturier, and his parents Peter and Trudy Vogels.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 21, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Wells Gray Curling Club, 428 Murtle Crescent, Clearwater, B.C. If not fully vaccinated you are requested to please wear a mask.
