Obituary of Irvin Ramsay
Passed away peacefully at Summit Place in Owen Sound, on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Born on December 21. 1941, Irvin Leslie Ramsay, of Owen Sound and formerly of Annan, was in his 80th year.
Dearly loved husband and best friend of Jacqueline “Jackie” Ramsay (nee McMillan). Loving father of Shelley Jackson (Kent Clark) of Oliphant, Debbie Skippen (Chris Juniper) of Meaford, Perry Ramsay (Jennifer) and Carri Darnbrough (Russ) both of Owen Sound. Proud papa of 8 grandchildren and Papa Irv of 12 great-grandchildren. Irv will also be missed by the McMillan family and his nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Emma Ramsay.
A graveside service to celebrate Irv’s life will be held at Annan Cemetery on Monday, July 26th at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Kristal McGee officiating. With COVID 19 restrictions guests must wear a mask and follow social distancing protocols. Friends are welcome to view the service via livestream on the funeral home website (woodfuneralhome.ca)
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and can be made through the Brian E.
