IRIS JACKSON
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and sister Iris Jackson. She left this world on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the age of 77 years young. She is survived by her son Jonathan Jackson, her brother Terry Dowhaniuk, nephew Jamie Dowhaniuk and niece Lindsey Dowhaniuk. She was pre-deceased by her daughter Norrie Jackson, in infancy, and her parents Mary and Walter Dowhaniuk. She was an avid lover of all animals and every animal’s life that she touched was better off for it. In accordance with Iris’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a small farewell gathering by immediate family. In lieu of flowers, friends may donate to The Thunder Bay and District Humane Society or the Cancer Care Clinic at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
