Obituary
It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Irene Susan Altenburg, February 21, 2021 at the age of 86 years. Irene was born December 7th, 1934 in Crane River MB to parents Frank and Henrietta Ranville.
Surviving to cherish fond memories are her children Henrietta (Brian), Harold (Wendy), John (Annette), Richard (Roxanne), Eric (Donna), David, Mark (Gloria), sister Delores “Dolly” as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family members.
Irene was predeceased by her husband of 67 years Julien Altenburg, parents Frank and Henrietta Ranville, grandson Cory Altenburg, sisters Mary, Florence, Margaret, Annette, Therese, Rose, Alice, brothers Joseph, Emile, George, Leo, Thomas, Carl, Ernie, Frank, Eli, Fred, and Daniel.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the care given to Irene by the staff of the Ste. Rose Hospital.
A Graveside service will be held for Irene & Julien on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Ste. Rose Cemetery in Ste. Rose du Lac, MB.
