MRS. IRENE EDITH HANNAFORD
Of Pevensey (nee Harmer)
Peacefully at Water’s Edge in North Bay on Wednesday November 24, 2021. Mrs. Irene Hannaford, beloved wife of John, was in her 81st year.
Dear mother of Sandy Therrien, Steve & Rob (Allison) Hannaford.
Proud grandmother of Stephanie (Andrew), Nicole (Matt), Thomas, Hunter, and Andrew.
Great grandmother of Nicholas, Johnathan, Lincoln, Shelby, and William.
Irene is survived by her brothers; Heber (Vera), Russell (late Vi) and predeceased by siblings: Opal, Keith, Laverne, and Peter.
She will be fondly remembered by all her nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Wednesday December 1, 2021, from 12 to 1pm. A service to celebrate Irene’s life will follow in the chapel commencing at 1:00 pm with Reverend Sandra Jenkinson officiating.
Spring interment in Pevensey Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
