Ian McDonald December 2nd 2020

It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Ian McDonald on December 2, 2020 in Vernon, BC. Ian was born on March 27, 1942 in Glasgow, Scotland. His greatest achievement was getting his pilot’s license; he was extremely passionate about aviation and metallurgy. He had a vast knowledge of stamps and coins and loved nothing more than a good scenic drive in his car or walking the dogs all the way to the mail boxes on the acreage in Armstrong. Ian is survived by his partner of 40 years; Jane Anderson, his sisters Elizabeth Shaw, Stella Woods (Dave) and families of Ontario. He is predeceased by his loving parents Robert and Margaret McDonald, brother Robert (Bert) of Galloway, Scotland, sister Kathy Chamberlain and nephew Raymond Bowerman of Rhosneigr N. Wales. The family would like to thank Dr. Humphries and Dr. Cunningham and the VJH staff for all the care Ian received. He will be dearly missed.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Ian McDonald December 2nd 2020..
