Ian Bedford Dalton Wednesday December 30th 2020

DALTON, Ian B. – September 6, 1922- December 30, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ian, at the age of 98. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Male), for 74 years. Devoted and loving father of Cindy (George M. Skelding). Dear grandfather of Alicia, Amanda and Rachel. Fondly remembered by many friends. Predeceased by his infant son (1956), parents, Charles (1973) and Mary (1980), brother Edwin (1985), wife’s parents, Violet Male (1984) and Harold Male (1979). A lifelong resident of Stamford Centre, Ian retired, after 28 years of service, from B.F. Goodrich in 1984. Ian was a man of many talents; he enjoyed carpentry, music, sports and his old Corvettes. He was always willing to lend a hand and could build or fix anything.
A heartfelt thanks to the many doctors, nurses and to his friends who have supported him during the last few years and have kept in touch.
Private family arrangements. Cremation to take place followed by interment of the cremated remains at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
