HUTTON JUNE 2021

June 23 1937- April 13 2021

Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie, on Tuesday April 13th, 2021, in her 83rd year. Loving wife to her best friend and true love, Alex (predeceased 2016). Much loved mother to Ian (Louise) of Barrie and Judith (Robert) of Elmvale. Cherished Mama of Megan (Mark), Brooke (Adam), Joshua (Jon), Justin (Makenzie), Taylor (Leah), Phillip (Carolyn). A very proud Luvey (Great Mama) to Alexandra, Piper, Summer, William, Grace and Noah.

June was one of nine children born and raised in Sheffield, England, the last living member of her siblings. After Alex visited Canada in 1974, they decided to emigrate to pursue a better life for their children. June recounted this as one of the best decisions they made and happily established their lives together in Elmvale. June, known by many as Luvey in the community, had a loving nature and a passion for life. She worked until her 81st year, finally retiring from Whitfield’s Pharmacy, but never losing her sharp wit and humour. Her friendly smile and slight cheekiness were traits that made her a great friend to many over the years.

She fought hard for so long, not wanting to leave her greatest joys in life, her children and their families. In her words she’d say “I’ll see you when I see you.”

June’s family would like to thank Doctor Jennifer Johnson for her compassionate care over the many years, and the Bayshore nurses, particularly Megan for her kind attention.

Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will be held.

Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 262 Elmvale or Hospice Simcoe would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of HUTTON JUNE 2021..
