Legault, Horace (née) April 17th, 1916 -Thursday, September 23rd, 2021
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Horace Legault at the Au Château, Home for the aged Thursday, September 23rd, 2021 in his 106th year. Son of the late Wilfrid Legault and of the late Adelina Rivet. Predeceased by his wife Lucienne Legault (née Soucy) 2004. Dearly loved father of Yvette Loke (Wayne) of Fort Erie, René (Françoise) of Sturgeon Falls, Claire Savage of Sturgeon Falls, Denise Dubois (late Patrick) of Sturgeon Falls, Lionel (Rosa) of Kitchener, Diane (Rhéal Lavigne) of Sturgeon Falls, Gilles of Sturgeon Falls, Daniel (Cathy) of Milverton and Roger of Ottawa. Predeceased by his 2 sons Marcel in 1944 and Marcel in 1979. He will be remembered by 13 grandchildren Tina, Mark, Dawn, Lynn, Guy, Jeffery, Ginette, Gilles, Jessica, Sylvie, Josée, Cory and Michelle as well as 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was an avid golfer which he enjoyed until his late nineties. He also enjoyed playing pool, loved his Maple Leafs and was looking forward to the next hockey season. He was a retired electrician with many other talents. Very well known as “Petok” in the community. The family will receive friends and family at the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral home, Sturgeon Falls, on Saturday, October 2, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 p.m.
