Hilda Muggridge October 20 1933 – January 17 2021

Passed peacefully away at Pleasantview Towers, St. John’s on Sunday, January 17th, 2021 Hilda Muggridge of Winterbrook, aged 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Fred Muggridge; parents Fred and Mary Ann Pike; sisters Blanche Curtis (Dave) and Rose Kennedy (survived by Peter). Left with fond and loving memories her children Hearder (Janice), Wade (Judy), Alvin (Betty), Shelby Thornhill (Derrick), Wanda (Pauline Maloney), Wilf; grandchildren Madison Slopek (Steve), Christian Muggridge, Brent Thornhill (Mackenzie), Brittany Thornhill, Lisa Skiffington (Paul), Sue Anne Rideout (Trevor), Leonard Muggridge (Remanda); great grandchildren Lydia Slopek, Liam Thornhill, Olivia Skiffington, Dylan Skiffington, Zachary Muggridge, Addison Muggridge, Sara Rideout, Aaron Rideout; “like daughters she never had” Donna Nolan, Loretta Collins. A very special friend the Late Joan Maloney and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at the Anglican Church, Winterbrook on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the Anglican Church, Winterbrook with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Winterbrook. Funeral Service will be by invitation only and Covid rules will apply. In lieu of flowers donations gratefully accepted in her memory to the Children’s Wish Foundation. The family would like to express Special Thanks to staff on 4NE of Pleasantview Towers.
