Hilda Jean MacPherson Tilley Friday January 22nd 2021

Hilda Macpherson ( nee Tilley) died peacefully on Friday January 22, 2021 in her 87th year. She is survived by her husband of 61 years Reverend Owen Macpherson. She will be missed by her children Bonnie (Joe) Doyle of Point Clark, On, Robert (Shelby) Macpherson of Foxboro, On and James (Shirley) Macpherson of Campbellford, Ontario.
Loving nannie to Ryan and Emma. She is survived by her sister Joan Hicks of Sydney, N.S, her sister in law Isabel Macpherson of Halifax, N.S and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Hilda was born in Clarenville, NFLD. At the age of 15 she and her family moved to Sydney N.S. where she later met and married Owen in 1959. They both attended the Salvation Army College for Officer Training and worked as a team until Owen was ordained with the United Church of Canada. Their lives were devoted to their ministry and family during their many postings across Canada from the east to the west coast and Bermuda. They retired in 1997 to Belleville, On.
Special thanks to Dr Ladouceur and staff of the Queens Family Health Team, Dr Jana Kankesan and staff of the Quinte Health Care Regional Cancer Center and the Nurses and support staff at Quinte Gardens Retirement Residence.
Cremation has taken place.
