Henry Keith Siddall October 12th 1932 June 16th 2021

Henry Keith Siddall passed away on June 16, 2021 in Vancouver, at the age of 88. Keith was predeceased by his wife Nora, the love of his life, and is survived by and lovingly remembered by his two sons Kieran (Janice) and Keith (Julia) and his grandchildren Emma, Charlotte, Sabrina and Sebastian. Born in Oldham, England, Keith studied law at the University of Manchester and the University of Cambridge. He started his legal career as a solicitor in Blackpool, before completing two years of National Service in the Royal Air Force. In 1958, Keith emigrated to Canada and made Vancouver his home, where he practiced law for over 40 years. He served as a board member and volunteer for numerous organizations including the Burnaby Family Y.M.C.A, the Little Mountain Housing Cooperative, and the Arbutus Care Centre. Keith was a voracious reader and had an encyclopaedic knowledge of world history. He enjoyed outdoor pursuits, most of all, mountaineering in the Lake District. Keith was much loved and will be deeply missed by those whose lives he touched. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Ocean View Cemetery, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver.
