Obituary of Helen Sylvia Lutz
It is with great sadness, the family of Helen Sylvia Lutz (Rhynold), 82 of Sheffield Mills and Grafton, announce her passing on Monday, May 24, 2021 in the Valley Regional Hospital. Helen was born in Sheffield Mills in 1939, and was the daughter of the late Lawson and Ruth (Kane) Rhynold.
She is survived by her step-sons Danny (Trudi), Aylesford; Medford, Jr., Aylesford; Timothy, Alberta; five step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; long-time partner Alfred Dalton; sisters Christina (Kip) Palmer, Canning; Joan (William) Fraser, Cornwallis; Mona (Gerald) Dalton, Canning; brothers Ken (Charlotte), Canning; Allen (Patricia), Centreville; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by common-law spouse Medford Lutz; brothers Paul (Janice) and Doug.
There will be no visitation and a Graveside Service, by invitation only, will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Berwick Branch #69 or the Valley Regional Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
