Obituary of Helen Butt
Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Monday, March 29, 2021, Helen Butt of Harbour Grace, age 75 years.
Predeceased by parents: James and Margaret Cooper; brothers-in-law: Fred Colbourne, Cles Greene, and Ronnie Sullivan; sister-in-law: Dorothy Cooper.
Leaving to mourn, husband: Edward; one daughter: Lisa (Doug Johnson); one son: Damien (Melissa), all of Alberta; four grandchildren: Doug (Celine), Michael, Seamus, and Leah; two great-grandchildren: Liam and Riley; three brothers: Joe Cooper (Daphne), Jimmy (Mary-Jo) Cooper, and Frank (Frankie) Cooper; five sisters: Florence Colbourne, Donna Sullivan, Shirley Greene, Rowena (Jerry) Wrice, and Eileen (Troy) Mozak; special friend: Kay Reynolds; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
A private visitation will take place at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harbour Grace, followed by funeral service at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace on Thursday, April 1, by invitation only.
Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation at heartandstroke.ca.
