Obituary of Helen Ann Campbell, New Waterford
It is with great sadness the family wish to announce the passing of their loving mother , grandmother , great-grandmother, Helen Campbell, Feb 20,2021 at Maple Hill Manor, New Waterford.
Born in Cheticamp, she was the daughter of the late Mitt Bennett, raised by grandparents, Alex (Brick) & Susie Campbell. Helen was a caring and loving person and would do anything for anyone. Helen enjoyed playing darts, bingo and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly (John Keeping); son, Lauchie , and the light of her life, her grandchildren, Roddy (whom was like her son), Robin, Santana, Lindsay, Kayla, as well as eight beautiful great-grandchildren. Helen is also survived by sisters, Dorthy Parr and Susie Bennett; brother, Russell(Gloria) Bennett; brother-in-law, Jimmie Keeping , godchild, Crystal Dewolfe and many nieces, nephews and friends including special friend, Valerie Muise.
Besides her parents, Helen is predeceased by her Husband, Roddy; son, Joey Campbell, grandson, Devyn; sisters, Kay (Alby) Muise, Joanne (Wayne) Bickerton and Barbara Keeping .
As per her wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taking place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, New Waterford. A private funeral service of celebration for Helen will be held in Calvin United Church, New Waterford, with Rev. Duncan Roach officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Helens memory to Maple Hill Manor, New Waterford. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at: www.vjmcgillivray.ca.
