Helena McCombs nee Kusick 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Helena McCombs (nee Kusick) on Saturday November 27, 2021. Helena was predeceased by the love of her life, William, whom she lost in 2018; they will now be forever reunited.
Helena will be greatly missed by her brother Richard Kusick (Nancy), niece Georgia Boychuk (Ron Keizer), great-niece Natasha Dombrowski (Robert Morrison), as well as close friends Russell Cobb, Rita Bernie, and family. A special thank you to John (Dalit), Mark (Irene), Nicole (Paul), Colette (Aaron) McCombs, and families for your support.
Helena was born in Kirkland Lake, but had her eyes set on the big city. She thrived in Toronto and the loved the lifestyle, working as an insurance underwriter. She would often come back to Kirkland Lake to spend time with her family, who she loved and cared for very much. Helena met Graham through a colleague, and they spent 30 years happily married, travelling the world and capturing every moment together. Together with Graham, Helena made photo albums of their many trips, which easily could fill a library both in space and memories. She loved music, and although she seemed to never know any of the words, that didn’t stop her from singing along and enjoying every moment.
Arrangements are entrusted to Carson Funeral Home, 54 Coldwater Street East, Orillia (705) 326-3595. In keeping with Helena’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will take place at a later date.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Helena McCombs nee Kusick 2021..
